Glenorie and Galston, NSW
Glenorie and Galston were two un-sewered urban villages, approximately 35 kilometres northwest of Sydney, that were chosen to receive improved wastewater services as part of the Priority Sewerage Program (PSP) by the NSW Government. The wastewater service was a pressure sewerage system to service about 380 properties in Galston and 240 properties in Glenorie.
UEA successfully completed the installation of 11,350 metres of polyethylene reticulation pipework by horizontal directional drilling (HDD) as a part of the Glenorie Galston Pressure Sewer Project. As a part of this scope, UEA:
Despite the tight timeframe for completion, UEA was able to install all pipework within the required period. The changing ground conditions were managed effectively by UEA’s fleet of all terrain HDD rigs – once again proving their worth in the Sydney ground conditions.
