Celebrating 30 Years of UEA: People, Partnerships, and Progress
This year, UEA proudly celebrates 30 years of delivering Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) projects across Australia. Founded in 1995 as
Did you know almost one in ten people worldwide don’t have access to clean water close to home? For millions of people, the simple act of turning on a tap or using a safe toilet is still out of reach. That’s where WaterAid plays a vital role. This not-for-profit organisation works globally to make clean and accessible drinking water, sanitation and hygiene services available to all. WaterAid believes that access to clean water is the foundation for health, education and opportunity. By collaborating with local communities and governing bodies, WaterAid helps provide the resources, education, training and support needed to create lasting change.
UEA’s partnership with WaterAid began more than a decade ago, when the company was first invited to take a table at the annual New South Wales WaterAid Gala Ball. From there, the relationship grew naturally into ongoing sponsorship as UEA recognised the incredible work WaterAid was achieving around the world.
This year, UEA was proud to continue our support as a Gold Sponsor of the New South Wales WaterAid Gala Ball. The event brings together organisations from across the water, construction and infrastructure sectors to raise critical funds that enable WaterAid to continue its mission of providing clean water and sanitation where it is needed most.
UEA’s work has always been rooted in delivering essential infrastructure that improves lives and communities. Supporting WaterAid aligns closely with that purpose, and what is more important than providing the basics in life such as clean drinking water? This partnership represents UEA’s commitment to making a difference not only through the projects we delivers but also through supporting global efforts to ensure every person has access to life’s most fundamental resource.
By continuing to support WaterAid, UEA joins a global movement dedicated to transforming lives through access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene. Together, we can help ensure that every person, everywhere, has the opportunity to thrive. To learn more about WaterAid and how you can contribute, visit http://www.wateraid.org/au.
